A faith-based relationship experience

Three Strands™

Different by Design. Stronger Together.

Three Strands™ helps people understand why they relate, communicate, and respond the way they do — and why the people closest to them may experience the same situations very differently.

Using temperament insight, guided conversations, and practical relationship tools, participants gain greater understanding of themselves and one another while learning how to communicate with less frustration and more compassion.

Beyond the session

The Goal

The goal of Three Strands™ is not simply greater understanding — it is helping that understanding create meaningful change within the relationship.

Participants can leave with greater clarity about

  • what each person needs to feel heard, valued, and connected
  • why certain patterns of conflict continue to repeat
  • how individual differences affect communication and expectations
  • how to respond rather than simply react
  • where the relationship is strong and where intentional work is needed
  • practical next steps for building healthier patterns moving forward

Stronger connection. Healthier communication. Relationships equipped to keep growing.

A thoughtful place to begin

Is Three Strands™ Right for Your Relationship?

The right kind of support matters. These considerations can help you think about whether this experience is a good fit right now, or whether another first step may better support you.

A place to grow

Three Strands™ may be a great fit if…

  • you want to understand why you and the other person communicate and respond differently
  • misunderstandings, unmet expectations, or recurring conflict are creating distance
  • you are willing to look at yourself — not just what the other person needs to change
  • you want practical tools you can continue using after the experience
  • preserving or strengthening the relationship matters to you

Safety comes first

You may need additional support first

  • either person feels physically unsafe or afraid
  • there is physical violence, coercion, intimidation, stalking, or significant controlling behavior
  • there are current thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or harming another person
  • substance use is significantly interfering with safety or daily functioning
  • one person is participating only because of threats, pressure, or coercion
  • a significant mental-health concern is currently making productive relationship work difficult
  • the relationship is experiencing an immediate crisis that requires stabilization first

That doesn’t necessarily mean “no.” It may simply mean a different first step is needed.

Keep tending what matters

Three Strands™ Maintenance Program

Healthy relationships require more than one good conversation. The Three Strands™ Maintenance Program provides ongoing support, accountability, and intentional relationship care after the initial experience.

  • scheduled relationship maintenance sessions
  • monthly tools, exercises, or relationship-focused resources
  • accountability for shared goals and commitments
  • email and text access for support between sessions
  • help addressing concerns before they become larger patterns
  • reinforcement of healthy communication and connection
Maintenance options are available with quarterly, every-other-month, or monthly sessions.
A conversation is the first step

Ready to explore whether Three Strands™ is the right next step?

Michele can help determine whether Three Strands™ is appropriate now, whether individual counseling or another resource should be added, or whether another level of care would better support the people involved.
